HDS Gets Into The Spirit Of Giving

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – December 22, 2005 – Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Kelly Chiccitt, spearheaded a toy drive for underprivileged children and made the donation to The Bradley Center. Bradley was founded by The United Methodist Women in 1905 as The Elizabeth A. Bradley Home for Children and operated as an orphanage for many years. In 1972, it was incorporated as The Bradley Center and served primarily abused, neglected and dependent children. In 1991, Bradley was reorganized by a new non-denominational, community-based Board of Trustees and executive management. Bradley—as it is now known—has since evolved into an accredited, multi-campus, regional organization in the Pittsburgh area serving the needs of mentally-disabled and developmentally-delayed children and their families.

Chiccitt said, “We have been doing this for a couple of years now and this was by far our biggest donation.” The HDS employees that participated each received a card with a child’s name and a small list of toys that they requested from Santa Clause. Chiccitt added, “Our employees at HDS Marketing were very generous and will hopefully put smiles on many children’s faces on Christmas morning.”
